- If you cancel within the first 60 days of the initial purchase, or any renewal term, you will be entitled to receive a refund for the full value of the amount paid for your yearly membership minus the value of any membership discounts, services or benefits already provided during the then-current term. As part of this, you will also be entitled to a full refund of the portion of the membership fee that paid for your protection plan benefits, except that a deduction may be made from such amount for repairs or replacement costs incurred during the then-current term.
- If you cancel after the first 60 days, you will be entitled to receive a prorated refund based on the number of days remaining in the billing year beyond the cancellation date and minus the value of any membership discounts, services or benefits already provided during the then-current term. As part of this, you will also be entitled to a prorated refund of the portion of the membership fee that paid for your protection plan benefits, except that a deduction may be made from such amount for repairs or replacement costs incurred during the then-current term.
- When you make a purchase that’s covered by the protection plan with your Totaltech membership, you’ll receive an email confirming your protection plan coverage. Give a copy of this email to your gift recipient. They will need this email to show that their product is covered.
- The protection plan will remain in your name. You may still receive information about the plan – such as the gift recipient’s claim activity and notices about the plan.
- The protection plan will continue for up to 24 months, as long as your Totaltech membership remains active. If you cancel or choose not to renew your Totaltech membership, this will cancel any remaining months on the protection plan.
