Q: What is the diameter of the bands?

A: 3" (or just under) and stretches to 6" or so

Q: Can these withhold heat of 425 degrees?

A: I’m not sure. I’ve left mine in the car during the day and are still durable. Not sure exactly how hot it gets in my car but where are you gonna come across heat like you’re talking about?
