what an experience this game offers, there isnt really much to say about the negatives, its short, yep thats about it, using kinect this game really feels magical, the graphics are nothing short of amazing, easily one of the most beautiful games ever released, if you have a kinect, please dont miss this, the point of the game is to use your arms as lasers to purify the evil enemies that come from all directions and surround you, a little hard to put in words, all i will say is that using kinect feels natural and its very responsive, easily the best kinect title to date, $50 may seem steep but its an unforgettable game, and you will replay the levels multiple times so there is replay value, no multiplayer component but your friends wont mind watching until their turn, another great thing about this game is the learning curve, easy to pick up and play but may take hours to master the levels, enjoy

I wasn't going to buy this since I didn't really like the story but after reading the reviews I had to try it. I had so much fun with this, so much to see. The music, graphics, colors and then the story just fell into place. Im glad I listened to everyones reviews. It was so addictive, I actually went home for my lunch break to try and finish a level I was having trouble with the night before. Give it a try!

This game is truly an experience like no other. Using the Kinect to move your arms immerses you into total sensory overload. Visuals are STUNNING, music is enchanting, and while it's not super-long, it's somehting you'll want to go back to again and again, simply to experience it again.
Do yourself a favor and check it out!

One of the best Kinect games...

I have to admit, I wasn't sure about this game based on screen shots alone. But for some reason everyone that reviews this game likes it. And I have to agree, this is easily one of the top games for the Kinect. The soundtrack and graphics are fantastic and the story is well written. The game is challenging and gives a sneak peak at how the Kinect might pull off future shooter games. Everything is so fluid in this game...almost like conducting a techno orchestra.

The Most Incredible Kinect Game Out There

Child of Eden focuses on quality above quantity; this mantra is clearly evident throughout the entirety of the game. While this may only last you 1.5-2 hours for a playthrough (or less if you are adept with the Kinect), this is not a game that is meant to be rushed through. Sure, the length leaves something to be desired, but if you were to stand there and play for the entirety of the game, it would feel longer by tenfold. The mission length runs around 10-15 each, but it feels like 30 minutes if you are merely playing one at a time.
Visually, the game is stunning; Q's other music/visual mashup Rez has a very apparent influence. The colors and effects are outstanding, and the art design is seriously the best of any 360 game.
In terms of gameplay, the Kinect works incredibly well. Aiming is fluid and never feels jerky. Q obviously took a long time to optimize it for the Kinect, so this is the way to go.
Sound design is phenomenal. The music works perfectly with the visuals, and sounds effects mirror the environment.
Overall, this is the best Kinect game out there. While a little short, reskins of the levels make it worth many more playthroughs. If you have a Kinect or even just a normal 360, you owe it to yourself to check out this under-appreciated gem.

This game is one that gets better the more you play it! I really liked the Kinect integration, as it felt very natural.

Followed the tutorial but still confused on the purpose, and objective.
Accuracy was not the best either, however that could of been the Kinect.
