BestBuy is THE most reliable stores for electronics and appliances. However, they do not appear to be knowledgable about Garmin/GPS. This product does NOT work, if you do NOT have a GPS which already has Map of Europe. My nuvi255w is an old model (though only 3 years old), and it would be helpful if clear specifications are stated under the product name, something like "This is NOT a map, it is only an update to an already-existing map of EUROPE. Your Garmin MUST HAVE the map of Europe already in it." (Otherwise, I suspect that update product itself might work well, but I am only saying that I was misinformed and misled to purchase a wrong item.) Thanks.
