I LOVE the Power Pak+. The battery life is clearly much longer with it than with the default 3DS battery, it doesn't add too much bulk to the 3DS, and installing it is rather easy.
The Power Pak+ does eventually begin to hold less charge, but that takes hundreds of hours of use and it still works better than the default 3DS battery. If you plan to use your 3DS a lot, I'd definitely get one or two of these.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Quite simply, it works as advertised. I picked this up along with the Nintendo 3DS the day I got it. I didn't plug it in right away because I wanted to see what the stock battery offered. Within an hour of Super Mario 3D Land the battery had lost at least 25% of its charge. Then I swapped in the Nyko Power Pak + with the aid of a real screwdriver, not the one included because it offers zero torque, and I totally see the difference already.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Doubles play time5

Bought this from BB when it was at $10. I get at least twice the play time in between charges. It's also easy to install. One down side is that it's incompatible with the charging dock, but honestly, it's not like charging via the cable port is any less convenient than the dock. And although it makes your 3ds a little thicker, it's definitely worth it in order to have your system last twice as long between charges.3 out of 3 found this review helpful.

This battery from Nyko is awesome! It does live up to is description and potential. and also great for long plane rides. The original stock battery only lasts about 3 or so hours on a full charge. and thats without using any 3D. on the other hand, this Nyko battery doubles that battery life time to about 6 hours on a full charge. also without using any 3D. be advised that playing on a high 3D mode will drain the battery faster. hope this helps! thanks! ^_*3 out of 5 found this review helpful.

My son says it holds a charge well, over twice as long as the original battery. Charges with the plug, not the original charging dock station.7 out of 9 found this review helpful.

Awesome battery replacement5

It's much better than the original battery. It adds a grip to the back so it's easier to hold and makes it easier to hold if you have bigger hands. You can't use the original 3DS dock with it, but I never did before, so it isn't a big deal to me. The bad things are that the screwdriver is horrible, and that you can't use the bottom of any case you buy, only the top.17 out of 17 found this review helpful.

Ive been using this battery since it came out, and i have yet to even get low. This battery is easy to install and can support long play sessions with the brightness turned all the way up and using 3D. The only minor drawback is it can be a little bulky in your pocket if you wear tighter pants, but this also has not been an issue for me.20 out of 26 found this review helpful.
