The link1000.5plus is the perfect complete system amplifier. One of the drawbacks of most 5-channel amplifiers is that while there is usually enough power for the front and rear main speakers, the power left over of the subwoofer is limited. Not so with the link1000.5plus. Channel 5 produces a robust 500 watts RMS @ 2 ohms, enough for most subwoofer systems. Like all Wāvtech amplifiers, the link1000.5mini has built-in adaptive loading and can accept up the 40V of input. The link1000.5mini features built-in summing for up to 6-channels of input, so you won’t need to purchase an external processor in applications where a full range signal is not present. Like all Wāvtech amplifiers, it is compatible with Start/Stop systems. It also features 12dB per octave crossover on the 4 main channels and Wāvtech’s proprietary bassFREQ preamp with 24dB crossover and subsonic filter on the mono channel.
