Decent, not great Posted by: from: on I love 2K and haven't disliked a game put out by them yet, but I feel a bit cheated by this game. I spent $60, and while it may eventually be worth that much, it isn't yet. The campaign is insanely fun, but painfully short. Which makes sense since it's designed to be MP game. However, the MP maps and characters are really weak. 4v5's constantly happen and games take 20 minutes + the game also just feels.... unfinished. I feel like I'm playing more of a BETA than a full game. I have put 1000+ hours in LoL, Smite, Paragon, etc. and while this does a good job trying to blend genres, it isn't nearly as elaborate as those or as simple as Overwatch or Paladins. Overall, it stuck itself in a weird middle zone and just makes the game feel awkward.

Nice FPS MOBA Posted by: from: on I was going between this and Over watch and after looking into both I realized they look similar, but do not play similar. Battleborn is a FPS style MOBA, similar to League of Legends, DOTA, etc. You pick your champion, que into the game and in specific game types, you will push waves of minions while trying to destroy enemy towers while protecting your own. Over watch is more similar to Team Fortress, where you have characters and you battle each other in an open arena with no lanes. Characters will stay the same while in Battleborn you champion will level up, for only that match, and you will be able to somewhat customize your build. If you are familiar with MOBA games you will assume there is a shop at base which you buy weapons and armor, but this is not how it works I Battleborn, you create a customer layout like call of duty and join the game with preset 3 items. Battleborn does have a nice start to the game were if you join a match and are unfamiliar with the objectives, it will show everyone a small video while the game loads the map on what you are required to achieve for victory. I have about 5 hours into this game, so I would not say im an expert, but I would recommend this game to anyone who is familiar with MOBA or would like to get into it.

Playing the Beta VERY FUN! Posted by: from: Duluth, MN on The graphics are really nice. Fun playing with a team. 3a wide variety of character to play as, Something for every play style. Lots a strong enemies. I decided to download the BETA and give it a whirl. My kids got to try it out and they too give this game 2 thumbs up. So it looks like ill be buying 2 copies. Go figure lol

Couch Co-Op Rules All Posted by: from: on That's right 5 stars and it's because in this day and age, we have accepted not being able to play with people in couch co-op. We that grew up in the early 1990's know that almost every cool game was 1-2 player. The times have shifted, but this game res urges old feelings of both unity and function. My girlfriend and I play online all the time and we both level up at the same time. The only thing that I had an issue with was unlocking the first few playable characters after the prologue for my girlfriend. This is only a minor gripe as there is a lot of things to unlock like new characters, abilities, and appearances. In order to fully appreciate this title, one would need to have a person to play with at home against the minions that you'll have to overcome. Boss battles are amazing and gameplay is rewarding. A must have!

A new feel Posted by: from: on With a lot of FPS games coming out like doom and overwatch this game can easily be overlooked. Overall this game runs well, and I haven't dealt with a glitch yet. This game relies a lot on teamwork, and playing with friends is what I believe to be the best option, but at the same time it can still be really fun playing by yourself. Need a new FPS with a different feels from the others? Then I would recommend this.

Should've gotten more attention Posted by: from: on Had it not released around the same time as Overwatch, I think it would've been more popular. The game was a fresh style for me; it provided something new that I wasn't used to playing. The bad thing is that it seems to lack a sense of team composition; nobody tries balancing the team. Also, the DLC seems lackluster and overdue. New characters aren't much when there aren't many players and new missions should've been released a while ago. Even though there isn't much of an audience, 2K is not giving up and props for that.

Solid game overall Posted by: from: on Solid game overall. Characters were well designed. Campaign was not so good. Difficulties with match-making and loading time was long. Note Xbox Gold is required to play this game.

Lots of content Posted by: from: on I wrestled with whether to get this game and/or overwatch. I settled on this game because it has much more content to offer, namely a co-op campaign. Very fun.

game is decent, similar to borderlands Posted by: from: on Game is just okay. Definitely no Borderlands but a decent shooter. Playing alone is not that good. Would be a lot of fun playing with a group
