Excellent wireless mouse Posted by: from: on The mouse that came with my HP desktop wireless keyboard/mouse combo gave up the ghost so I went on a quest to find a decent replacement. I had been very happy for 6 years with the existing mouse, little did I know mouse technology has changed so much. The only adjustment I've had to make is with the shape since my previous mouse was a very flat design. Other than that this mouse possesses an extremely speedy response time which I'm very impressed with. The Hyper-Fast Scrolling feature is alone with the price of admission. Haven't even tried customizing the various buttons yet, when I have time I'll delve into that. For now I'm really enjoying this mouse. I hope it lasts as long as the last one did.

Nice Mouse Posted by: from: DeBary, FL on I was intrigued by the 3-year battery life for this mouse. I have used other wireless mice and need to charge batteries every two months or so. It will be nice not to have to worry about batteries for quite a long time. Performance of the mouse is good. However, I have noticed that it does not perform well on light-colored surfaces, such as a piece of blank white paper. I like the ability to switch the scroll wheel from a set number of lines to continuous scrolling with the push of a button. I have some spreadsheets that require significant scrolling from top to bottom. Very easy to click the button, and scroll the wheel and just let it run. Very handy. I've used the two side buttons only for doing page forward and page back on websites, and have not played with the software to reprogram anything. It's a good size for my hand, and the buttons and scroll wheel are easy to press. Overall, I like this mouse very much. I probably would have scored it 5 stars if it worked better on light surfaces.

Good mouse for larger hand Posted by: from: on Logitech spoiled me and now I insist on the hyper-scroll wheel. This is probably a great mouse, but a little bulkier than my previous Anywhere mouse. Thought I could save $20 with this version, but traded it back in for another Anywhere mouse.

Great mouse for my traveler bag Posted by: from: on Mouse works great and the battery life seems to be exceptional. I carry this mouse in my computer bag when traveling for company business. I think it will work out very well.

Comfortable, but not perfect Posted by: from: Orange County, CA on This mouse is a nice size for a desktop and fits comfortably in the (right) hand. I like the FWD/BACK browser buttons on the side, easily reached by the thumb with good tactile feedback. But the scroll wheel is a little chintzy - it has a I/O button on top that permits the scroll wheel to move in "clicks" or roll freely (called hyper-scrolling). Unfortunately on day two of use, this button became semi-broken, only working intermittently. Overall, I decided to keep the mouse rather than return it ... and I find it to be reasonably accurate (unless placed on a certain surfaces). The build quality is surprisingly not as "solid" feeling as I expected seeing it in the package, but it's passable. Battery life is not a concern to me, but this seems to have long life based on other reviews.

Works as expected Posted by: from: on Great mouse for the price. I like the fact that it is not small for my hands and is ergonomically curved for my thumb.

Overall Happy with Mouse But... Posted by: from: on Happy with the m705 so far (only had for a day). Gripping and scrolling is smooth and effortless, feels good in the hand due to ergonomic shape. I like the toggle switch to allow scroll wheel to momentum scroll for faster scrolling. However, two negatives for me are: 1) you need a mousepad if using the product on a wood surface; I've never experienced that before with an optical mouse; and 2) forget about using an older logitech keyboard with the unifying software, it doesn't pick it up; I'm stuck having to plug in 2 USB adapters - 1 for the keyboard and 1 for the new mouse which completely defeats the purpose of the Unifying software/hardware technology built in. Unfortunately I paid for it and will not be able to take adantage w/o buying a new keyboard which I will not do. This is why I am not giving this product 5 stars. Cost is on par with other similar-featured mice and won't break the bank. I would recommend this to a friend - especially if he/she can take advantage of the Unifying technology.
