Seems to find sat signal quicker than the 2 Tom Toms I have. Only fault I see will be time it takes to do down loads. New out of the box it showed to have an update available, it took hours and I'm not sure it even downloaded the new data. Otherwise, directions are clearly spoken, maps are accurate. Have not run into traffic problem yet so don't know how well that works.

This is a definite upgrade from my previous Garmin in terms of speed. Only thing missing is voice activation. I thought the models with that feature were far too expensive. Downgraded from 5 -star to 4-star because it was a pain in the neck to set up my account and get the map updates downloaded. Definitely not compatible with Linux. No excuse for that as far as I'm concerned. I was forced to use my husband's Mac. Didn't work with Windows 7 on my old computer at all.

I just wish there was a GPS out there that had a brain and sent you the most direct route. Not the "fastest route" by 10 seconds, or the "shortest distance" that takes you down the most obscure back roads for absolutely no reason. Just the way that makes the most sense. This GPS is one of those that takes you down stupid roads and takes you off route just to go back on the road you were on. But in the end, you get where you're going. It's very user friendly and the directions are good. It's helpful that the picture comes up to show you which exit to take, and what lane to be in when there's multiple choices.

I already had one Garmin GPS and needed a second. This new unit is just as good as the older one. Accurate directions, clearly spoken directions and provides options if there's a lot of traffic - a great feature. Highly recommended.

This is a great buy for that price with lifetime maps and traffic updates.

This is one of the lower priced GPS units with free maps and traffic updates. It works extremely well and the transfer from my older model GPS was a breeze.

Provides great friction and helps to keep dash and wind shield clean.

This gps is my first experience with a gps. I took it to Florida,and back home,without any problems.

It good product easy to use. I got it from Best Buy on a very good deal.

Love the GPS. Love the traffic notices when I'm on the move. Also gives how long of a delay there will be.

Yes GPS is fast but it simply doesn't work. Search is difficult and counter intuitive. Unit does not find correct addresses, only "close enough" instead of 60 it would find 59, instead of 210 it would find 209 and last one, instead of 5 it found 13. I contacted the support and they told me to let them know and they would eventually create the update. Im returning it.
