The robot does a fantastic job of vacuuming hardware floors and carpet.

I never believed these things would work--I figured there was no way something that small could vacuum up enough stuff to seriously clean my house. Once I got the Roomba, I was shocked to find it works great! You still need to do a real vacuuming one in awhile, but it's great for keeping your floors basically clean in between house cleanings. Especially if you have pets.

I have back problem. Having this product has really helped by taking the pressure off . Very easy to use

Great little helper. We use the daily programmed cleaning cycle and it cleans the floor for about two hours daily in the morning. This can be adjusted to suit each user. We have three pets who seem to disregard it unless it runs into them and then they just hop away. This is a great daily maintenance helper around the house with pet hair never going away.

I really like this model, I use it all the time. It does a very good job.

Not only does this provide a few hours of entertainment for our cat while we're at work, it picks up the cat litter he apparently throws around. This thing can navigate over many different flooring types, from flagstone to area rugs. It does not work in our media room with very dense, sculpted black and brown carpet. I've recommended this workhorse to everyone I know.

Roombas are king. Set it and forget it. This little device covers my whole living room, kitchen, and entry way. I'm surprised how it is smart enough to not get stuck under hutches and cabinets. Make sure you clean after every use to take care of this baby.

We have hardwood and tile and this little vacuum picks up the crumbs.

It does a Great job cleaning. It does take a little while because of all the furniture in the house.

It works well to clean my wood and tile floors but, even though it does handle minor changes in floor height, it was not able to transition from the wood floor to my area rug. The rug is too tall. Addionally, the plushness of the rug is too much for the roomba to handle, it will not vacuum it. Mohawk Carpets calls the rug type Frieze (Twist). Perhaps a less fluffy rug, like a standard loop, would be vacuumable with this roomba.
