Good little vacuum
|Posted .Works well while you sit and watch. I haven't programmed it to vacuum on a schedule but have gotten a couple extra "virtual wall" units for $34 since successfully using the one came with the IBot; I often have more than one area want to keep IBot out of. The dust tray is always full of pet hair...amazing job. The IBot slows before coming to a wall so doesn't bump and mar walls. It will navigate itself around chair legs and over most rugs. It's a little noisy but it is a vacuum. I put a virtual wall unit by the pets water bowel and the IBOT stayed out of that area. When I felt it had done a good job pressed "Dock" and the IBOT went to the charging station and stopped all on its own. I got the ~$400 model and am happy with it. My wife is a little techno challenged yet seems to have no trouble using IBOT.

iRobot Roomba 650
|Posted .Our first Roomba lasted 7 years and we loved it. We've had this one about 2 months. Roombie works hard and packs the dirt, hair and fur tight into the collection. She has quite the personality, when finding a soiled area, as she goes in circles or moves back and forth as she cleans and grumbles.

Best purchase
|Posted .One of the best purchases that I've ever made. I ordered it 3 weeks ago but was travelling so only opened and tried it yesterday and scheduled it to work today. Yesterday it worked almost two hours and cleaned my entire 1st floor (1000 square feet) with a mix of hardwood, rugs, stone tiles. It was amazing and I love watching it moving across the room. Picked up so much dust/dirt. After an overnight charge, today I scheduled it to work again. This time the charge was enough to clean my 1st and 2nd floor (carpet). It works wonderfully on carpet too! Picked up so much dust and I have emptied the dust tray 3 times (see picture).

GREAT PRODUCT!!!!
|Posted .Works as advertised right of the box. We have a two story home and it does the entire first floor on one charge. It goes from the rug in the living room to the tiled family room without a hitch. My wife loves the fact that you can scheduled it to start at certain hours seven days a week. Buying a second unit for the bedrooms in the top floor. Would definitely recommend it.

Great little helper!!
|Posted .I really dislike vacuuming so this i-Robot was a great help! It's nice that the Robot can be vacuuming while i'm doing laundry or washing dishes; I feel like I get more accomplished in less time! Of course the Robot doesn't get into all the nooks and crannies but it does the trick on a regular basis.

Absolutely love my Roomba
|Posted .I recently broke my foot and can't walk, let alone sweep my floors. And with my write main floor being hardwoods, the dust and dirt was aggravating me to no end. I bought my Roomba (Jarvis as I like to call him), and my floors are so much better. I still cannot mop them regularly, but even my neighbor commented that my floors look fantastic every time she is by the house. Best. Investment. Ever.

Q: QuestionWhat features does the roomba 860 have that the roomba 650 don't have. And between the 860 and 650 which one is the best seller?
Asked by Tiny.
- A:Answer My personal favorite is 650. Price is a big factor in my decision. 860 has a little different filter ( HEPA ) not washable. I wash my 650 filter all the time (Daily) I hope this helps.

Q: QuestionWill the 650 go from room to room, porcelain tile to carpet?
Asked by Ginger.
- A:Answer It should have no problem tackling those flooring surfaces. I currently have the 650 with the upgraded Li-Ion battery (<$60), and it travels all throughout the first floor of our house. Some will say I won't clean as good as manually vacuuming, but it will do it everyday (just have to dump the dust bin which os very easy). We have had it for almost 3 weeks and the carpet and wood floors have never looked better.

Q: QuestionHow does it work on stairs ?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer It doesn't work on stairs unfortunately. It senses there's a drop and moves away. I recommend a small handheld vacuum for the stairs.

Q: QuestionI am concerned about the iroomba scratching my floor if a small Pebble or piece of debris is caught in the bristle or roller. Does this happen? We have a rocky/ gravel yard. Also, how many square feet will the vacuum clean before being emptied?
Asked by Ineedacleanhouse.
- A:Answer My hardwood floors are super sensitive to scratches and dents, and I've never had the Roomba scratch them. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. Downstairs on the hardwood floors I only empty the Roomba after it is finished. Upstairs I empty it hallway through its cleaning cycle. It really depends on how often you run the Roomba and how much your pets shed.

Q: QuestionWhat is the pick up capacity inside the Roomba, how much dirty and debri does it hold? When it gets full does the machine automatically shut off?
Asked by reginaK50.
- A:Answer Once machine is full it goes back to home station until you empty it. It probably holds a cup to cup and 1/2 of dirt before full.

Q: QuestionOf these mentioned which one is the quietest? This will be my first time buying one and I'd like it to be fairly quiet yet pick up well on carpet. Thank You
Asked by Gracie.
- A:Answer They are all vacuumed sound / "loud". The quiet ones don't work very well. I bought the 650 and it's so able but wakes me up when it turns on. I use it as an alarm sometimes
