Works well while you sit and watch. I haven't programmed it to vacuum on a schedule but have gotten a couple extra "virtual wall" units for $34 since successfully using the one came with the IBot; I often have more than one area want to keep IBot out of. The dust tray is always full of pet hair...amazing job. The IBot slows before coming to a wall so doesn't bump and mar walls. It will navigate itself around chair legs and over most rugs. It's a little noisy but it is a vacuum. I put a virtual wall unit by the pets water bowel and the IBOT stayed out of that area. When I felt it had done a good job pressed "Dock" and the IBOT went to the charging station and stopped all on its own. I got the ~$400 model and am happy with it. My wife is a little techno challenged yet seems to have no trouble using IBOT.

One of the best purchases that I've ever made. I ordered it 3 weeks ago but was travelling so only opened and tried it yesterday and scheduled it to work today. Yesterday it worked almost two hours and cleaned my entire 1st floor (1000 square feet) with a mix of hardwood, rugs, stone tiles. It was amazing and I love watching it moving across the room. Picked up so much dust/dirt. After an overnight charge, today I scheduled it to work again. This time the charge was enough to clean my 1st and 2nd floor (carpet). It works wonderfully on carpet too! Picked up so much dust and I have emptied the dust tray 3 times (see picture).

Works so well. Great entry point into robotic vacuums. We run this guy once a day, and it keeps our laminate floors very clean.

Our first Roomba lasted 7 years and we loved it. We've had this one about 2 months. Roombie works hard and packs the dirt, hair and fur tight into the collection. She has quite the personality, when finding a soiled area, as she goes in circles or moves back and forth as she cleans and grumbles.

Works as advertised right of the box. We have a two story home and it does the entire first floor on one charge. It goes from the rug in the living room to the tiled family room without a hitch. My wife loves the fact that you can scheduled it to start at certain hours seven days a week. Buying a second unit for the bedrooms in the top floor. Would definitely recommend it.

I really dislike vacuuming so this i-Robot was a great help! It's nice that the Robot can be vacuuming while i'm doing laundry or washing dishes; I feel like I get more accomplished in less time! Of course the Robot doesn't get into all the nooks and crannies but it does the trick on a regular basis.

I had heard of this vacuum butler for years. I decided to try one myself! A great decision. The cup is always full of dust!! I turn it on when I leave, it has docked its self when I arrive home! Love!

I love my Roomba 650 but it is very loud. I bought 2; one for upstairs and downstairs. When I run them, they are so loud. I love the fact that I no longer need to vacuum my home.

i Have a cat and wouldn't live without the Roomba! I named him "Walle".. He keeps my cat entertained watching it go around the house..and of course Im entertained watching my cat..most important Roomba saves me hours of time every day from vacuming or cleaning the floor!!

I love my Irobot, I love that it picks up all of the dirt on my floor and that it returns home (docked) by its self.

I recently broke my foot and can't walk, let alone sweep my floors. And with my write main floor being hardwoods, the dust and dirt was aggravating me to no end. I bought my Roomba (Jarvis as I like to call him), and my floors are so much better. I still cannot mop them regularly, but even my neighbor commented that my floors look fantastic every time she is by the house. Best. Investment. Ever.

The best thing that happened in my life aside from my family is owning Roomba,my robot vacuum cleaner.My house has never been so tidy and clean since I bought this product.Love this so much and I would not hesitate to buy another one.Excellent house cleaner!!

I imported this product when I was living in Brazil. I loved it. My mother felt in love as well, so when I moved to the USA, I had to gift her my iRobot. I bought another iRobot in the first week I arrived in the USA. It is a great help. I programmed it to start cleaning just after I leave to work (3 times a week). Perfect !!!

I mostly got this to help with the cat litter constantly scattered on our hard floors, but it picks up a shocking amount of dust and fur too. Pros: - Cleans better than expected - Automated schedule, so it can run before we come home in the evening - Easy to take apart and maintain Cons: - Can be pretty abusive with furniture, consider putting some foam weather stripping on it - Fell down the stairs once, gets scuffed up pretty easily - Can get trapped or lost, I've come home to it out of power in a room away from its station For the most part its been a positive experience, just don't expect miracle. Basically this will keep a clean house clean, but it won't make a dirty house clean.

This is my first purchase of a robotic anything. I own my own business and have little spare time. In lieu of a maid service, I bought a robot vacuum. This has got to be the best purchase I have made in a long while. It does exactly what the reviews claimed. It will clean about 1000 sq. ft. at a full charge. I divide my house, with the included invisible wall transmitter and it goes to work. The added features in the next model up weren't enough to justify the upgrade, in my opinion. This little vacuum does an impressive job. Mine already has some white paint on it from getting under bathroom cabinets but everywhere it goes is CLEAN afterwards!

It is a great robot and it does its job well. I have a toddler at home and she always makes the laminate floor messy. The robot cleans the floor very well and I can schedule it to do the job while nobody is at home. 2 complaints: (1) It is pretty noisy when it's working. Not saying it's over noisy, but not ideal when you are at home. (2) Sometimes the robot tried to climb over barriers and got stuck, especially on carpets.

Good Entry Level Robotic Vacuum - would've rated higher if it didn't vacuum via bump and error. Nice battery life on the machine. The machine didn't always dock unless it was very close to the dock already after I pressed the docking button. Really liked the programming options where you can literally program every day or certain days of the week. Scooted nicely in between my kitchen table chairs. Nice spot clean function.

I have 2 long-haired cats that I adore, but they keep making rugs on my hardwood floors...and I don't like rugs. I also have two children that I adore, but they also add floor decor that I'd rather not have. Anyway, Roomba comes off his dock every weekday morning at 8am, just as I asked him too. On the weekends, I allow him to sleep until 11am and he seems to appreciate it. He travels around the room and makes sure that I'm willing to open the door for any unexpected visitors. Does he replace a good, deep sweep? No, but he has allowed me to do that good, deep sweep every few days instead of every single blessed day. I do wish he was a little thinner, so he could fit under the couch, but I'd rather not hurt his feelings by mentioning it too often. And yes, I do call him by name; I do tell him he's done a good job; and I do call him my best friend. But I'm thinking he might need a new friend closer to his age and size...to keep him company, of course.
