I have had my Roomba for 2 months now and overall I am pleased. I live with 3 dogs and 3 cats and the floors were a constant mess. I run this almost every day and it works very well in picking up the dirt and pet hair. My only complaint that it is noisier than I thought it would be. I work out of my house and cannot run it in my office if I am on the phone. And I have a section of my house that has a ledge and it gets stuck everytime I put it in that room. I think it's a little pricey but beats spending every weekend vacuuming. Get the remote!

I truly love everything about it. It does such a good job in small rooms and I don't have to empty the canister until it's finished. I love how it docks itself and recharges at the end of its cycle. It does the carpet and the hardwood floors. It is a little bit loud but I often run it while I'm not home or while I'm doing other housework. I like how it will push toys out from under the couch for me so I just have to pick them up instead of crawling under the couch. I only wish it came with two of the little room divider thingies. I'm totally getting it's cousin that mops your floor!

Bought this for my wife for Mother's Day, and it's the best thing we could have purchased. We have mostly tile and rugs in our house and have no issues with it picking up day to day dust bunnies. It cleans the whole common area without losing charge that is about 1,200 sq. ft.

I love to come home from work and check the bin to see how much dust and cat hair Roomba has collected! The house looks and feels cleaner with a simple vacuum (especially on dark hardwoods). It does go around an area rug with high pile but has no problem with the medium pile rugs or transittion to carpet. Can't imagine not having roomba in my daily work life. (Pro: dust collection / Con: cleaning the bushes)

I've had my Roomba for about a month now. It has been doing a great job in the living room and kitchen. I was a little disappointed initially, as the first time it ran, I expected the floors to be spotless. But since the dust bin is so small, it takes it running several days to really get all the dirt up. Once it gets the floors clean, it does a great job of keeping them that way. I have mine set to run every night at 1:00 am so it's doesn't upset the dogs. The Roomba is a must have if you have pets. It does a good job of keeping pet hair under control.

This was a purchase that seemed extravagent but has turned out to be an everyday item used in our home. We have a Boston terrier that sheds and the roomba has been terrific. We have named her Cinderella (the roomba, not the dog) and we may even let her go to the ball.

Who doesn't love a robot doing the vacuuming for you. I have had Roombas for years. It's the easiest way to vacuum the house except the corners. You will need to help it out sweeping the dust out of the corners first. You can schedule the Roomba to clean on its on. To be honest I've never used that feature. I always have to set up the room first before I turn it on. Good example is if you use it in the bathroom and it catches the end of the toilet paper roll. You can imagine what happens next. But the convenience to turn it on a walk away is great. Plus it does do a really good job picking up dust that you don't even see. This model has a large capacity to hold dust and long battery life.

IRobot Roomba 650 does a great job of cleaning my hardwood and tile floors. It not only cleans the floors but puts a shine on them in the process. Dog hair has met its match! Thank you iRobot.

I have two dogs and have toyed with the idea of getting a Roomba for months. I was spending at least 29 minutes a day battling dog fur on my dark wood floors, only to have the fur rise against me again within hours. I was scared by the price tag of the Roomba but it has been totally worth the money. It does a surprisingly thorough job and I don't have to devote hours of my life every week to sweeping up fur. I highly recommend it!

Roomba a has exceeded our expectations. It is easy to use and has done a fantastic job cleaning. We have had no issues since receiving the product three weeks ago. It does a great job on our hard wood floors and carpet. I would recommend this to anyone!

This is a great vacuum. I turn it on and let it go for over an hour. It bases itself when it needs charging. You will have to empty it periodically during the course of an hour since it does pick up a lot. For the costs I wish it came with a room blocker so you can keep it in a particular area. You will have to pick up items off the floor to get a good clean. Watch out for wires as it will drag them along if they are hanging on the floor.

Bought this product to help with vacuuming up our labs hair inbetween weekly vacuuming. After purchasing irobot I only have to vacuum areas that are too tight for it to get to. Will occasionally shut doors and get stuck behind them, so I close doors of rooms (bathroom) befor it starts. Great product. Best gift I have bought myself in years. This is the first review I have ever written on any product.

Works as expected. Wish it had a little more padding but has not been an issue, so more for peace of mind. Have not been able to find it's charging base home a few times but that is not really much of an issue. Cleans up my labrador's hair well.

I was very skeptical when I bought this vacuum but I have to so I am very pleased. This little vacuum picks up an incredible amount of dust, dirt, and just about anything that gets in its way. I have hardwood floors with area rugs in most rooms. One room is carpet. One room is Italian tile. This little vacuum has no problem adjusting from hardwoods to area rugs to carpet to tile. It never misses a step going from room to room. That fact that is can go completely under beds, dressers, sofas, etc. means it is getting areas that we rarely got to in a thorough fashion because they are tough to reach areas. My home is about 1900 square feet. This Roomba covers just about every room on a single charge when left to its own. There are occasions that it doesn’t make it to one room or another because it spent too much time in one particular room based on its movement patterns. I run it every day so it usually gets tomorrow what it missed today. The counter rotating brushes and suction are incredibly powerful. It never ceases to amaze me how much this thing picks up. The brushes are easily removed for cleaning and the dust bin is easy to remove and empty. The auto docking to charge is something I expected not to work. I was wrong. When the charge gets low this little Roomba heads right back to the dock and recharges itself. I haven’t used the scheduling feature so I can’t say how well it works. I usually push the start button in the morning and let it do its thing. This is one of those “I can’t believe it actually works” purchases. Believe it. It works!

The battery lasts, still running, cleans pretty good. The only draw back on it is that it must be emptied each time it runs. It can be programmed by day and time.

The Roomba 650 is easy to use and cleans well. It easily fits under most furniture. It always becomes wedged under the refrigerator door prompting an error message. It got wedged under the same dining room chair twice. Now I place the dining room chairs on the table before starting the Roomba. It has also gotten wedged trying to get under an overstuffed chair. I have yet to program the Roomba to clean in my absence due. The Roomba transitions from carpet to tile and hardwood floors without any problem. Despite the wedging issues it still beats pushing around a vacuum cleaner every few days.

I debated for years on getting one of these guys. I have always wondered how well they worked and finally when our stand up unit finally died I decided to try one out. The vacuum works well on our hardwood floors the only problem we have is that some of the rugs in our house are "fluffy" and the roomba will not go on them, it thinks its an object and goes all around it. This isnt that big of a deal, but just some food for thought. You can pick the vacuum up and put it on the rug, but once it goes off it it, once again, will not go back on. Only other thing I will say is dont watch it work. If you do you will start to hate the vacuum and want to return it. The first few days we had it my wife and I would sit and watch it work, i know we are nerds. If you do this you will watch it constantly miss little items. We almost returned it multiple times because of this. The key is to just set it and leave the house or room. IT CLEANS VERY WELL, it just never picks up tha tone piece of dirt while you are watching it. Only real complaint would be that the charging base isnt heavy enough. Even with the grip pads on teh bottom it slides across the hardwood floors sometimes.

I have truly enjoyed my Roomba so far. I purchased this item in January and have used it for a little over a month now. We have three dogs - a great dane, english mastiff and a dachshund who collectively shed quite a bit. The area the Roomba vacuums is laminate flooring. The Roomba does a great job picking up the dog hair and cleaning under much of our furniture. I would definitely recommend this product - I would certainly buy it over again. My only reservation about the roomba is that I have to pick up all of our rugs and move the bar stools dining room chairs before using it. I was aware of the rug situation prior to my purchase based on other reviews I had read. The Roomba will go around the chairs fine, but seems to make quite a bit of noise bumping back and forth. Even with these things the benefits and performance far outweigh any negatives.

Works nicely on hardwood and tile floors, we only have area rugs, and its hard to tell how well it actually works on carpet. Running this daily and it definitely keeps the pet hair and tracked in dirt to a minimum. Must remove and empty the dirt tray daily, does tend to get wound up in drapes, nose can get wedged under cabinets and hutches, which will make it surrender and stop. The sensor that blocks it access to other rooms should have its own sensor to turn on when the programmable Roomba starts because otherwise, one must be home, kinda defeats the purpose. Its kinda noisy running in the background, so really nice to run while gone. Would recommend as I already have to several friends. Buy the WARRANTY, it covers batteries and failure, this was a replacement product for an original at 11 months.

I received an I Robot 3 years ago as a gift and I love it. I own a GSD who sheds, and this vacuum works great. Just turn it on when I go to bed and the house is cleaned while I sleep. I bought this one for my daughter ( who has 4 dogs) this Christmas and so far she loves it. It works great on laminate/hardwood and tile floors and has never left a mark anywhere. It does a good job on small area rugs also. Just dump the tray in the morning and vacuum off the brushes, and you are ready for the next job.
