Bobo is it's name and it is fantastic! Being disabled, doing thorough vacuuming is a problem for me. Bobo Roomba does an excellent job while I sit, watch and smile! . The Roomba works endlessly cleaning your house It does have an obsession though with running back and forth against straight walls and I wish there was a whistle I could blow to bring it back into the center of the room!

Pros: it enjoys doing what you hate doing, bleeps happily when you switch it on (I don't beep happily when you ask me to clean). Gets under beds, behind sofas where I would NEVER go (I'm VERY lazy) . Keeps my home cleaner - I used to vacuum MAX once a week and it got ugly (I have 2 cats who love to fur up our 2 big rugs). Now I Roomba every 2/3 days and things look so much better. I frequently use the virtual wall - dead easy to set up, just place it on the far side of the doorway you don't want it to go through and switch on. Done. I use it to stop Roomba going in the room where my cats hang out. She easily glides from my hard floor onto my rugs and does a good job cleaning both, she has a lot of cat hair to remove and is good at that. Roomba charges fast. Very easy to remove the "dirt bin" and clean the brushes. Cons: you need to pick up everything lying on the floor - yes I'm untidy so this took me a while at the start. So now it's forcing me to be tidier, which is a good thing ! You must remember to securely prop doors open, or she sometimes manages to close a door and gets "stuck" in a room. I have 2 small bathrooms so now I've learned simply to keep Roomba out of them by shutting those doors. Use her for your bigger rooms. Our low flimsy mats made of light material get scrunched, no big deal, I just give them a good shake, hide them from her and she eats that dust Would I recommend ? Absolutely ! The pros definitely outweigh the cons

This vacuum has made my life so incredibly fantastic. I just purchased a house with hardwood floors, and I love hardwood floors but I hate stuff sticking to the bottom of my feet. Each morning before I leave for work, I turn on my irobot , who I have lovingly named Olivia, and when I come home my floors are fantastically clean!

My husband got this for me for Mothers Day and I didn't think I would like it. We have a strange floor plan and stairs. But I have to say, I LOVE my roomba! The house gets vacuumed every day! I programmed it to run after everyone leaves the house and I come home to freshly vacumned carpets and floors. Its wonderful. You do have to empty it every day and clean the rollers once or twice a week, but those chores are much faster than vacuuming!!

Product was easy to set up and has been doing a great job! It was a gift for my mother, and she loves it. Does great keeping floors and carpet clean.

We bought this model wondering if it would work well on our thick carpeting. We were so pleasantly surprised and love how it cleans our entire downstairs, going from room to room over carpet and laminate. Picks up the pet hair and goes under furniture. The only difficulty we have encountered is that it sometimes gets stuck on the metal frame behind our loveseat. We are considering buying a second one to use upstairs.

The Roomba is great for picking up pet hairs, since my dog constantly sheds this is great to just turn it on and let it go. However even though it says it has dirt detection it sometimes doesn't sweep over an area. You have to position it so that it will sweep across that area for the dirt to be swept up. Overall I think it is great and a big help in that I don't have to continuously keep sweeping the dog hairs from my living room.

I love this thing! The only problem I have is that can get stuck under my kitchen toe kicks sometimes. But my floors basically stay clean now!

Just a laugh a minute as it stumbles around the room. It like corners and can get stuck, persistent! Does a good job on hardwood and rugs.

Always wondered if the iRobot Roomba could really work. I will never wonder again. The setup was easy. Once charged it started to clean and clean and clean. It worked and when it was done or tired (needing to be charged), it found its home. The only thing I wish is that I made the purchase sooner.

I love my little roomba. I come home to clean floors & I don't have to do anything. It works so much better than I thought it could. BUY ONE!!! I have long hair & a cat with long hair & Roomba had to be emptied a lot at first (along with some roller brush untangles - very easy to clean and reassemble). Now I have pretty much hair free floors!!!!

Bought for wife. She loves it. Does a pretty good job. Sometimes gets hung up on uneven surfaces.

I really love my Roomba. It's easy to operate and easy to empty. I tie something around my door knobs and tie the other end to something else to prop doors open because the Roomba will close doors and lock himself in a room. Everyone should have one!! Best vacuum I ever bought!! And I've had a Kirby and an Oreck

We have 3 cats and 2 dogs in a house with tile floors. Living in Phoenix you also get lots of dust in the house, so we thought we'd try the iRobot Roomba vacuum. It does an awesome job vacuuming up all the pet hair, dust and everything else that winds up on the floor. It also frees up lots of time because you can do other things while it's vacuuming. I love the way you can secure it to a room or area at a time. It vacuums underneath the bed and furniture so it picks up where regular vacuums can't get to. It's easy to empty and clean up, and really surprising how much it picks up even if you first sweep the floors. I absolutely love it and recommend it to anyone that wants to have a cleaner home and free up time spent vacuuming. You won't regret getting it.

Having had Roombas in the past, I was once again pleased with this one. It's easy to use, much easier to clean then the earlier models, and runs great. We have two dogs...one that sheds clumps of long hair...and Roomba has no problem with it. I do clean the bin and both rollers after each use.

This is a midrange roomba, but never-the-less has a charging dock and a remote for wireless control. It cleans the apartment everyday on a schedule, which was very easy to set up. If you didn't look at the couch, you'd never think we have a dog and cat that shed even after brushing. Now I just need a robot to lint-roll all the furniture!

Does a great job cleaning up after my dog and cat over hardwood, per go, and carpet. Scheduling is a great feature just wish it connected to the WiFi to adjust schedule

It solves the cleaning problems that I hated to do. It is surprising how much it still picks up every day. We have it run every night @ 11 when we head upstairs. It cleans the entire first floor that has tile, wood, and area rugs. Each night it starts and runs for about an hour cleaning. It takes less than 5 minutes to clean it the next day. It finds its docking station to recharge itself and is ready for the next day. I should have got this years ago. Now we have to decide if we want to get one for the upstairs bedrooms. It looks like we will be getting one for our daughter -- this is really a time saver. With 2 cats, it keeps the downstairs like my wife wants it. Great machine.

This is the best vacuum I've ever had! I would recommend this to anyone. I love the way it seems to know what rooms needs the most cleaning.

Buy this vacuum! One of the best decisions I have made in a while. So easy to program and it cleans while you are gone! We do not have pets but I do have a busy 15mon old who manages to make our floors messy every day. Roomba gets it all even the dust under the tables. Also no problems transitioning from hardwoods to large area rug like other reviewers said. I just wish my couches were a little taller bc roomba won't fit under them and the dust and dirt that builds up on my hardwoods daily is the main reason I bought the roomba! Oh well I still love it!
