Easy mount for Flat-Panel TV
Posted by: KodyStewart from: Fremont, CA on
Easy to mount to the wall and assemble. Due to the variety of different TV's this mount can be used for, you need to spend a little time trying to figure out the proper mounting holes which matches your TV. The Sony TV I have has mutiple mounting holes, so it took 15 minutes to figure out which holes matched the Sanus mount. Overall, I am very pleased with the mount and the ease of positioning the TV to the view that I need.

After reading reviews from others who had purchased much less expensive mounts that "looked" like this one, my wife and I were very leary of getting the right thing. We mounted a 26" flat screen w/built in DVD player on the wall in our kitchen with this model, and it worked out great.
The plate that mounts to the back of the tv has a swivel that allows the set to be tipped up or down and/or rotated. We highly recommend that you get the angle you want, then torque this bad boy tightly! You won't be able to easily adjust it after it's tight, but it's difficult to lossen it and tighten it snuggly once it's up on the wall (especially if it's up high). If you don't re-tighten it well, the tv will slowly droop on the swivel!
Otherwise, the thing is made from solid cast aluminum parts, all of the hardware for any type of flat screen tv is included, it bolts securely to a wall stud and the wire managment system works well to wrangle the power and coax neatly.
You definately get what you pay for with these things. It's shameful to think that it costs about 30% of the price of the tv, but if you're looking to save money, save it on something else or you'll be sorry you didn't!

This wall mount is plagued by a faulty tightening knob. This is the screw that tightens the monitor so that it wont tilt (or sag) on its own. I like the fact that you can tilt and turn the monitor, but the plastic parts inside keep it held in the position desired. Instead, as other reviewers have stated, the monitor slowly starts to droop and sag to one side. In the end, I took it apart, pulled the pin out, and just tightened the middle piece completely down. This made it more sturdy and provided maximum tension for the monitor tilt adjustment. Overall, I recommend that a potential buyer steer clear of this wall mount.

Wouldn't buy it again

Directions were very cluttered with all of the different languages. put a 32inch Flat screen TV on this, and when the arm is extended to one side the weight of the tv causes one side of the TV to hang lower than the other.

I am very happy with the quality and performance of this product. The install was easy, all the hardware you need for a universal mount is included. The TV tucks in nicely to the wall when the arm if folded and extends easily in any direction. The full motion is recommended for access to the rear of the TV and this mount provides ample room to get behind your TV.

I was planning on purchasing a low-profile mount when I purchased my new 32" Samsung, but I decided to go with a full-motion mount. I am confident I made the right decision. The instructions are illustration only, but they get the job done. The whole process is very simple. The only required tools are a drill, level, philips scredriver, stud finder, and socket wrench. It took me about 15 minutes from opening the box to plugging the cables back in. All of the parts are very sturdy and I have no fear anything happening to my tv. The full motion was great for instalation, wiring, and moving around the room. This is a very nice product.

I had issues
Posted by: Millertime76 from: Milwaukee on
I purchased this to mount my new Samsung 5500 series smart LED. The mounting hardware to go from the wall mount to the back of the TV wasn't compatible. The wall mount came with plenty of screws and options, but none would work just right. Attaching the wall mount to the back of the TV is about as simple as it gets, or at least should be! If you were to use the four screws that fit into the back of the TV ie correct thread you would have a gap between bracket and tv. Now I know the wall mount came with spacers to also use, These spacers when used with the appropriate screws would not work. I will provide a picture you can see how the screws are flush on the back of the TV now with no spacers. This took multiple trips to the hardware store, Also went back to speak to the sales staff only to be assumed an idiot. You will also see the limited range on the bracket which claims to support tv's 15/37. Mine being 32.

Excellent mount!!! Great price right now!

I thought that this mount was very easy to install to the wall and to hook up onto the TV (Dynex 32"). It took me a total of about 15 minutes to get everything together and the TV put on the mount. All hardware is provided and the instructions were very easy to use. Great product.
If it would support larger TVs (40"), I would have definitely bought a second for our other TV while these are on sale ($70!!!)

Perfect, flexible full motion, high quality mount
Posted by: Christba from: Seattle, WA on
The instructions were simple and very basic. Would have been nice for them to share tips on mounting as I worried too much about centering the TV into the defined shelf where I was installing it. Because it has full motion, you really only need to worry about the height. The arms are made of good quality steel and move smoothly and accurately.
They include various extra hardware (screws and mounting plates) to accommodate most all LCDs etc. I bought it to mount an LCD in shelf in the kitchen. I almost bought a simple wall mount and I’m very glad I didn’t because of the flexibility to pull it out, tilt it etc. Very very flexible and it looks very professional. If you are debating on whether to mount your LCD on a full motion vs.
The actual installation of the mount was very easy. The tough part was trying to find the center of the mounting space because most of the LCD mounting plates are not in the middle. I missed the middle of the space on the first mounting attempt, but was able to move it up one inch and fix in less than 5 minutes.
I would definitely recommend this mount if you are mounting in a bookshelf type space or if you want to have the flexibility to pull your LCD outward and rotate it, buy this one.

dissapointed with product

manufactured with some plastic parts when metal would have made it a much better product. Specifically where bolts are screwed into plastic threads was where it stripped out and made unit unsteady.
