A: It is connected to your backup lights, so I t comes on when you put your vehicle in reverse. It is possible to wire it so that it is on all the time.
Q: How much & how long is the installation for my Subaru Impreza?
A: I haven't had the chance to install, to cold But I will say product is deceiving, it's not completely wireless.. rear camera needs to have ground wire connection. Which isn't the hard part, you need to locate your power wire( positive wire) on your reverse lights to splice into..
Q: Can you see the trailer hitch and ball for easy hook up
A: Yes, the angle when mounted determines how clear and aim. It took a couple attempts but mine is now at an angle that’s clear enough to hook up my trailer with no assistance.
Q: Does the monitor go on and off when put into reverse and drive?
A: You can actually wire this camera either way. If you connect this to year back up light then, yes, it will turn off then you shift to drive. However, if it is wired to you license plate light it will stay on at all times, as long as your drl or headlights are on. If you wire this to any other lights, you may need to add a resister to keep power at a steady rate or the picture will NOT be clear. Good Luck!

A: Yes best buy hard wired mine no wires showing.
A: I've got one on my Jeep compass that has the same plate location. It's still tight and working as it did from day one
