Q: Is the door suppose to be able to come off, entirely? Mine falls out on its own. I wouldn't think that was the way it was intended when built.

A: Yes the door is able to come off to prevent braking opening and closing and while charging and recording at the same time (of course not during weather conditions) Its not suppose to simply fall off the hinges on its own though. you may want to squeeze the ends (hinges) a bit to make sure that does not happen and pop it back in.
