I don't think I would print 6,00 or 8,000 pages in 2 years, so will the HP ink bottles last longer than two years, or will it dry up?
Answered by HP TeamHey Mike, thanks for the question on the HP 31 ink bottles. These ink bottles are air-tight and designed not to dry out, as are the tanks in the HP Smart Tank models. So long as the bottles are stored in a stable temperature (5 to 95 degrees Farenheit) and kept properly sealed, they should not dry out. However, as with all printers, we do recommend printing at least once a week in order to keep everything fresh in your printer and to prevent any damage to the printhead.
