A: It is possible. It depends on the input setting you use for the TV. Is you are using HDMI. I would say it wont work together. If using a VGA or DVI cable there is a good chance. RGB connector yes. RCA not so sure. Getting the sound with the video is the challenge you need to determine when the TV will look to analog for its input. Sometimes you have to try it

A: I don’t think so. RCA is a different type of plug that will not properly connect your devices. The ground pole is different. 3.5 the jack is inserted into the jack where RC has one piece the goes internally and another piece that wraps around the jack.
