A: The pack has black and white compression collars. Use the white ones for thick gauge and the black ones for thin gauge. Do not strip the wire. Unscrew the plug and send the wire through the bottom plug portion. Fit the appropriate compression collar for your wire gauge (they can be adjusted a little) over the wire and then screw the upper banana plug part onto the collar and wire screwing it into the lower banana assembly. Make sure with is finger tight. It should not be loose as long as you use the correct collar and don't distend it trying to get it on the wire you're using. Hope that helps.
