Q: Does it come with an amplifier wire?
A: Hi, Thanks for your question. The Sonance MAG6.1 Outdoor Speaker Wiring Harness includes the pre-terminated speaker wiring used to connect the MAG6.1 speakers and subwoofer back to the amplifier. It’s designed specifically to simplify installation and ensure proper connections. Please note that it does not include an amplifier power cord, only the speaker wiring harness. A: Hi, Thank you for your question. The molded connector on the MAG 6.1 harness measures about 2-1/4" tall, so it requires at least 2-1/2" ID conduit for proper clearance. If your run includes elbows or bends, long-sweep 2-1/2" or even 3" conduit is recommended to prevent binding and to make the pull easier. That said, the harness is designed to be laid directly on top of the ground and can be covered with dirt or mulch to keep it concealed. Running the harness inside conduit is optional. You only need to do this if you prefer the added protection or if it’s required by local electrical code. I hope you found this information helpful.
