A: Hello! For the best performance, we recommend washing the cup surface with plain warm water, using your fingers to clean the cup, then allow it to air dry. Once dry, open the suction lever, press it firmly against the windshield, and close the lever. This should do the trick. Thanks!

A: Yes .... there are two mounts pictured, The one I need is the 0010053-2 according to escort for my MAX II which has a magnet inside of the slot for the steel tab to latch to. The other one is the 0010053-1 which has the slot and the circular indent at the end of the tab. So WHICH one did they send you? The product specs show the escort part number as 0010053-1, which is the wrong one for my detector.
