With a 90 day warrenty you can rest assured that on day 91 your chair will collapse. Sarcasm and bad jokes aside according to the X Rocker website's downloadable owner's manual pdf :"Do not stand on the X Rocker or exceed the 250lbs weight limit via other means." Which means you'll probably want to treat it as a soft weight limit as being 225lbs incase of overflow do to cats, snacks (or cats wanting your snacks) & enthusiastic gameplay. Unfortunately most of these chairs' specs don't cover if the weight limit is due to comfort or structural safety. Although considering the chapter is labled "Health and safety information" I'd lean towards the latter." From personal experience some chairs that are comfy get downright painfull if you gain 30 lbs.
