A: Yes. I wanted to 'cut the cable' and not rent router/modem from cable company. I now have a router w/ modem separate. It is a much lower profile than the rented one. Also boost signal around the house. I had the Geek Squad install new tv and move another and hook everything up. They were excellent! They get with the cable company via text and/or phone to sync all. A pain in the butt I did not want to take on. Technology has surpassed me as I have aged. Def recommend the technicians from Best Buy Martinsburg WV.
