Description

Christopher Guest has made his mark employing the tightly structured but highly improvised "mockumentary" style, first perfected by Rob Reiner in This Is Spinal Tap. This box set combines the Guest directed films Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, and A Mighty Wind. Each is presented in a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while a second English soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese subtitles are accessible. Each disc is loaded with extras including a commentary track recorded by Guest and co-scenarist Eugene Levy, deleted scenes with commentary, trailers, and many other goodies. These discs are available individually, but this box set offers the most cost-effective way to acquire all three.
