Good for smaller spaces
This little portable ac unit is great for the downstairs in our house. We only have window openings that are 16 in wide. It works best if I start it up in the morning early and leave it run on low all day. It does ok to cool off the room on high but takes a while. It seems to be pretty power efficient, but it doesn't work quite as well as a standard window air conditioner in my opinion. Still good for smaller rooms. I thought it worked better with the vent all the way down and the swing mode off.

The ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s are for two specific things. 1. The unit cools my 12' x 13' bedroom very well on the lowest fan setting! 2. There are (3) fan settings: low, medium, & high. I run this unit on low and it is very quite. I refer to it as a pleasant steady white noise. Now, on medium it is quite a bit louder and on high it is much louder. So I keep the fan on low and am very satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to a close friend!
