When I looked at the specs vs. the price this watch seemed like a winner. I was excited about trying something that wasn't tizen or apple. Once it arrived I opened it right away, and I connected it to a 2.1 amp charger (Since the box does not include a charger block) and let it sit for a few hours, and came back, and was still at the same percentage. I figured that was a bug, and started the setup, the QR scanning to pair was quick and seemed to be fine.
The watch defaults to 24 hour mode, no big deal, I will check settings. Settings crashed, weird, I will try again, crashed again. I thought maybe I did something wrong, I factory reset it, same issue. I looked it up, and yep its common, appears it happened with an update, and people have been stuck with this since April. I figured out how to switch the 12 hour mode with the app on the phone, I moved passed it.
Then the next morning I woke up checked the watch, and I couldnt figure out why I was so late in the morning. I realized that the watch was an hour off. I googled that also, also a known issue, apparently its an issue around daylight savings time. People have found a work around by just changing the time zone to somewhere else that is an hour different.
This is not acceptable.
I also took it outside, and the screen was so dim I couldnt even see it. Also the screen quality seems on par with a mid 2000s tablet, no viewing angles, everything is washed out.
This watch appears to be priced about double what it should be.
I returned the watch in under 12 hours, I am really upset with its poor performance.
