Great Wi-Fi extender

The signal is strong, especially when using the two antennas. Price is a little high, but other than that, it works great. Glad I purchased it.

We have a TV and wireless streaming devices in a room on the second floor of the house, which is a fair distance away from the wifi router on the first floor. With this device, we don't get pauses during Netflix or other video playback, and using a laptop on the second floor is much smoother too. We haven't put the extender through any real tough workout, but so far, it's doing its job.

I think this might be the best yet

It helps you find the perfect spot to pickup your wireless signal and then push out the amped signal. I work from home and have Comcast internet with their faster speed. I'm getting faster up and down than before and this works in my basement too (other models didnt preform as well) Other than having to spend more than I wanted to, i am willing to eat the price with continued performance like this (2 months in use, home office and home use)

Q: QuestionDistanceI'm want to extend coverage 250 feet. I don't know how to convert from 10,000 square feet. Will it reach that far?

- A:Answer 10,000 Sq feet would cover a 100ft by 100ft square. So sounds like it won't reach. You might have to look into the amped product that allows the extension up to 1.5 MILES. "line of sight connection required with Amped AP600EX AP or UA600EX USB Adapter for 1.5mi "

- A:Answer Daniela, Yes this will extend your range greatly. I recently set this range extender up for a friend to push a wireless signal to two homes and it has been working great. They get signal through the entire house and outside a fair distance as well.

Q: Questiongood choice to make signal stronger downstairs when router is upstairs?My router is upstairs in the opposite corner where I want to increase signal. When I use the laptop in the living room, the signal is between 2-4 bars. Ideally, I'd also like to have a stronger signal for Wii so I can use Netflix, etc. on my TV in that room. If this isn't the best choice, can you recommend?
