Got this phone because I got the message about whatsapp no longer supporting BB10 and I have a host of customers that I communicate with via the messenger (it's just sad Blackberry failed to market BBM effectively) so here goes:
- Excellent phone with a good physical keyboard! - not as nice as the passport (which I also have). Ergonomics on the passport is better given the shape of the phone.
- if you're coming from the BB10 browser you will most definitely miss the reader feature, which now becomes a very annoying visual experience with chrome (with all the ads) and no I'm not a huge fan of loading on various apps and browsers to my phone, I'm an out of the box kind of person (did you catch the word play?)
- the hub feature is still working well, that level of organization with your messages and mails is very valuable.
- Runs way cooler than the passport, in fact I only recall heating once when I was doing the initial set up.
- sturdy feel, head Turner, "oh Blackberry still makes phones, when did that come out?" Then the shocker when it slides up! Believe me, I live this story everyday with either the passport or priv, and yes I use both for work.
- better battery life than the passport and the passport has better battery life than most, I stand by that, and I use the buttons out of my phones, I'm in pharmaceutical sales: spreadsheets emails whatsapp (which really taxes your battery life) calls and the videos your mother sends you every now and then to watch.
- camera experience is better than the passport, sharper images, video features are decent too but here's the truth: I'm really not the best person to give you all the juicy multimedia details, I didn't buy the phone for that but when needed it's pretty good.
- you get way more than you pay for. Here's why Blackberry will remain my go-to brand for phones: Price point! In comparison to other flagship phones such as iPhone and galaxy I get way more value for money buying a priv or passport. First off it's always business first for me, never bought a phone for just pleasure, that's secondary and when I look at how blackberry's experience is for business as opposed to iPhone (which I have owned) and galaxy you just get more value in money spent. As it relates to multimedia experience: I can watch the same videos as you do and get the same amount of likes from Facebook and Instagram as you do using a galaxy or iPhone. Let's not mention Twitter, I just typed this review on my Priv.

The greatest BlackBerry and Android device in one.
Keyboard -
For those who don't like physical keyboards you don't have to use it. It hardly creates any bulk or weight. The virtual keyboard on the device is amazing.
It took a few days to get used to but I now work off of the physical keyboard for the most part. I though the keyboard would be too small for my large hands, not the case after a bit of use. The keyboard also doubles as a trackpad! This is amazing. You can use it to move the cursor in text or scroll through pages.
OS
This is lightly modified and highly secured vanilla Android OS. The best way to do it.
Software
You can always disable the BlackBerry suite, but why? The hub, contacts, calendar, notes, and Dtek is amazing.
Camera
One of the best camera's on the market. 18 MP OIS dual flash!
I expect BlackBerry to continue updating this device and the software. It is my understanding they can update most of the services through Play Store, so no carrier requirements. They also plan to send out security patches and OS updates monthly!
There are a few notification issues, but that's nothing due to BlackBerry. It is an Android issue and it appears BlackBerry has created the bones to fix these settings.
LOVE IT!

Have always been a Blackberry phone user, but you need functionality from the Android OS. BB has done a good of combining the Android OS with B!ackberry functionality and even some parts that look like kindle. The phone is 2 years old and !ow priced to match. But it's design easily competes with the latest cell phones costing 4 times as much. Long battery life with normal use. Be sure to get US version which includes wireless battery charging. Phone comes with older Android OS but can be quickly be updated to latest Android Marshmallow OS for latest options and improved security. Each day i find new options that are new and useful. Most all learning and help is online or built in to the OS, l wish there was a operations manual. Screen is large and curved which i like. Its a big change from BlackBerry bold but in the end its worth it. Also Best buy was able to move my contacts and photos over from my old BlackBerry Bold phone. Also i saved hundreds of dollars by dropping my AT&T insurance and switched to the 2 year geek squad plan.

General Observations:
Even with 808 its much smoother than my 5x. Camera is good but not great in par with 5x/6p. I got march 2016 security update even before my unlocked Nexus 5X! Really good phone. Physical keyboard works great when ever I use it. Slower typing speeds but much more accurate. Battery life is gd enough for my use case.
Pros:
Excellent support from Blackberry. Gaming GPU performance awesome for 808 device. Beyond my expectations. Build quality top notch. Excellent haptic feedback. Reminds me of my old HTC Desire HD days.
Great ergonomics compared to Apple iphone 6/6s plus.
Cons:
No finger print support.
A Tad bit too big in size. I would prefer if it were smaller by an 0.2 inch.
No date on Marshmellow or Android N dates published by blackberry. But I have more hope on BB than likes of Samsung.

The phone is a nice looking phone with a good screen and the wonderful feature of a slide-away physical keyboard. It has plenty of memory to run apps, and the operating system is being kept up-to-date. Blackberry's additional connectivity and security features are a bonus as well. The camera is superb. However, the phone just doesn't have as good reception as other phones, with signal and connectivity issues a real problem in certain areas.

I was a BlackBerry user in the past but had moved on to Android due to lack of app compatibility, even after them making the Amazon store available. I loved the Passport and was only hoping it was an Android device... so I held for as long as I could stand it and then gave in. I had a couple of Motorolas, then a cheapo BLU and they all crapped out on me. I was looking for Galaxy S7 or iPhone 6 performance on a budget (company would pay for it, so I couldn't buy anything extravagant) and found this one on Black Friday for $299. For this price, nothing comes close. Yes, it's not the newest device, but the performance, screen size and resolution, build quality, processor speed and even the camera are top notch.
With regards to the slide-out keyboard, the truth of the matter is that I use it less than 5% of the time. It's a nice to have for whenever typing long emails, but the virtual keyboard does the job nicely. I still prefer having it than not.
Another plus compared to other high-end devices out there is the expandable microSD slot that supports up to 2 TB cards. I bought a 256Gb card for it and brought a good chunk of my music collection with me.
My only regret is that I only bought one; should've hoarded a few for future use.

It's a wonderful Phone if used for working purpose, the fisic keyboard helps you a lot when writting emails or working on word or Excel, if you're loking for a Phone for playing, taking photos of all u see this Phone isn't for you, but if you need it for working It's your best choice! I'm very happy with my BlackBerry Priv, my Last Phone was the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and i'll stay with BlackBerry It's better for my necesites.
