The camera replaced the SX280, which was a problem out of the box. The Sx700hs is Avery nice camera, and very happy with it. The photographs that I have taken so far are just as good as my Nikon D7100. I enjoy the smallness of the unit, because it fits in my pocket, and I don't need the carry the weight of a camera bag around. The zoom is something else for what it does. I took photos of the moon, and the craters, you can count. Zoomed in the moon who'll fill the screen, what a shot!

I am not professional, but I like taking pictures and I was sick of cheap point and shoots that lasted only a year. I bought this camera for a recent trip throughout Scotland because I wanted a high quality camera that was easy to carry and I didn't want to use my iphone. I went to Best Buy with another Canon in mind, but found this after an employee helped me out, because this camera (despite being more expensive) was much smaller than the original camera I was interested in. This turns on & off quickly, which was a blessing in rapidly changing weather. The video quality is fine. The zoom is incredible. The photos turned out great on auto-mode, with amazing color clarity. I took a lot of pictures while on the move- through train & car windows, sometimes while it was raining, and they all turned out really well. If you want a small, easy to carry camera (fits in purse), that takes excellent photos and is reasonably priced, then this is a winner.

I grabbed this camera because of the zoom and the wifi. There's just some stuff that's too far away for me to take with my phone, and the SX700-HS captures them perfectly. Then I just download them to my phone and send to my mom. It has a lot of other fancy modes, but I'm good with the basic set up.

I loved this camera it had some nice features such as a 30x zoom. The camera fits in my pocket. I am planning on going back to buy my wife a camera on her birthday. The sales people where very nice to us, as usual. I would highly recommend this product and Best Buy for their best prices and service.

My salesperson was very helpful and knowledgeable. The product performs as well and better than advertised and as explained by my salesperson. I recommend this product to others. Note: Not part of my review, but I was in the same Best Buy two weeks after this purchase and learned that BB has discontinued selling the product. Can someone explain why?

I,m very happy with this camera. I had an older version for the last 2 years . It was only ok . But this newer version is great . Its made much stronger with metal parts . The older version had some rubber parts that wore out easily. The picture quality is fantastic as well.
