Q: Is this camera any good for vlogging or should I look for something else?
A: I think its excellent for vlogging as long as your not in windy weather because then it takes long for the camera to focus but other than that the camera is awesome I use it to record sports to make highlights
Q: Does this camera have the flip screen for selfies
A: Yes, that is why I purchased it.
A: I did not have trouble. Obviously it is not as fast as an SLR camera, but I had no problem in taking shots in the amount of time I desired.
A: No issues with my camera. I absolutely love it & I’m covered under Best Buy warranty if something happens. I can take it back & get a new one or put my money towards another camera. Amazon maybe cheaper but u will only get 30 days with them. Hope this helps
A: Make sure you have the Canon Camera Connect app on your phone. Make sure both the phone and camera are connected to the same WiFi network. Once this is done, push the WiFi connect button on the camera. It will then search for devices. Once it discovers it, you select it and name it. From that point on it will automatically recognize your phone. It works great once it is connected. However, if your phone goes to sleep while connected, it will disconnect with the camera. The app MUST be open on your phone the whole time you are using it.
A: You're going to want a GoPro...there are virtually no waterproof/resistant premium point-and-shoots
Q: how long can i record a video for? can i do makeup videos ? (2-3hr span)
A: All Canon cameras stop recording at 29min 59 seconds. You can look this up but it is a European thing that any longer than that and it is considered a camcorder.
Q: Can you enlarge the zoom shots to canvas 8 x 10 or 11 x 14 to display or hang?
A: Yes. As long as you don't crop in post production, the amount of pixels and the optical zoom allow you print up to poster size, which is 36x24 inches.

Big bang for your bucks!!
I bought this camera ahead of a once-in-a-lifetime vacation. Back in the day, I used a film SLR, digital SLR, and eventually a Canon SX10IS. For personal reasons, I didn't want to bring something even that big along. I'm SO happy I didn't! The zoom on this baby is incredible! Quick video! So light, and intuitive to figure out without needing to refer to the quick start guide. And my pictures and videos were AWESOME! My dad, who fancies himself a semi-pro, and carried all of his big gear and lenses around, was a wee bit envious of how quickly I could get a shot just as good, if not BETTER than his! I think my zoom was better than anything he had with him! ;) *I loved*: size, weight, instructions on screen for various features, movable screen (to see better in glare situations, or for selfies!) *Meh*: wrist strap is so long that it's practically non-functional (I had to swap with another device I had for fear of dropping camera), screen location seems like it might get scratched and camera is hard to hold without getting your fingers all over it (my SX10IS has a screen that opens up + a viewfinder), wi-fi capabilities are quite cumbersome/slow and I haven't found a way to send just one photo instead of dumping them all (Admittedly, I have not yet paired my smartphone with the camera, so maybe that's different.) Overall, it was an important part of my wonderful vacation, and I'm looking forward to continuing to use it in my everyday creative life!

Just BUY IT! It's amazing.
This camera is absolutely amazing for anyone searching for a lightweight and useful camera. The pop up screen makes it SO much better! It's a must have for me, I love to take selfies and this is just the perfect camera. The buttons are super soft, the screen is HD, the pictures have an excellent quality, and the camera as a whole is not heavy at all! It's kind of a pocket camera, it doesn't take much room and it's super easy to carry everywhere. Also, transferring the pics to ur smartphone is SUPER easy, one click, and its done! Wonderful for makeup tutorials!
I just started up my YouTube and went to find a new camera when I saw this 4K camera I knew instantly it would be perfect for my makeup tutorials! I love how the screen flips up for a selfie mode too! And that it has WiFi so I can easily send photos to my phone too! How ever when sending videos it takes forever to send to your phone that is the only down side but over all I am obsessed with this camera. Insta: @midnightrain777
