Canon PowerShot SX620 HS 20.2-Megapixel Digital Camera
A:AnswerNo Pano feature that I see on my new 620 but has others fun modes like toy train and vivid that are fun to use plus many more. The zoom is excellent and perfect for pocket or small purse while traveling. Nice go to camera if you do not want to take a heavier DSL. Takes excellent images even in Auto and long battery life. Found that some stores do not have battery to be used as backup that will work and display an error note when inserted. Go directly to Canon for the one that will or try in store before you leave to save time.
A:AnswerFor the Canon "genuine" 1250 mAh battery from full discharge it takes about 3 hours. CAUTION! There are other cheaper off-brands available mostly with HALF the mAh ratings so you take considerably fewer pictures with longer and more frequent charging.
A:AnswerThe flash can be set to operate in AUTO but it will fire only when it is in the up position. You have to manually move a release button to allow the flash to pop up.
Actually this can be an advantage in situations where flash photography is not allowed (museums, theaters, etc.) By keeping the flash secured within the camera body, you can be assured that you will not violate any NO-FLASH rules. I have another camera that resets its flash option after each shot so I have had the accidental flash firing when I did not want it.
