Have had several red dragon and other “cheaper” brands. Picked up this keyboard on sale and loving it. The RGB looks amazing reflecting off the silver metal. Keys feel great whether gaming or typing. Some people complained about using it for typing but I work from home two days a week and use this keyboard all day. Pairs great with my Corsair mouse and RAM. Highly recommend. It is not a “clicky” keyboard which is what I was looking for. The loud clicks when working from home was too much so this has been perfect for me.

|Posted .Pros mentioned:Color, Design, KeysThis keyboard is stunning in every aspect. The white reflects the rgb off the brushed aluminum and creates this glorious spectrum of colors that makes you stare in awe. The switches are fast, but not too fast where you feel as if you don't know if that button registered. You still get that feedback you crave from mechanical keyboards. So far into owning this product, I have had no problems with keeping it clean. As long as you're not eating bbq wings and using the keyboard without cleaning your hands off at all, it'll be fine. Perhaps it does get dirty somehow, you can easily remove the keycaps that are affected and just rinse them in your sink. The sound of the keys is pleasant and not too noisy. The wrist rest is very comfortable and durable (I've owned a k95 platinum in that past for over a year without any problems, this is the same wrist rest). So overall, this is a dream keyboard.

You might think, I simply lost it and are just old and remember it wrong. You might be right. I'm 35 and been a gamer since I was 6. Started with C64 (which you might need to google) that already had a keyboard built-in transforming into multiple PCs and consoles over the years. I also learnt typewriting for 2 years (which is not that fun everybody thinks it is - our teacher was extremely strict, you'd needed to type in front of a blank monitor with no possibility of erasing your mistakes and with every mistake made your grade drops immediately) which came in handy with my jobs, where typing speed is required. Now this keyboard is really comfy - has an immense amount of lighting options, which drives me crazy how good it looks during the night and clicks and is exactly the type I wanted when I first laid my eyes on her. The lighting is also something to behold : you can set 5 different lighting options, which you also can combine - right now if I'm idling, my keyboard lights up like if rain would fall on the keys, but if I start to type, each letter pressed starts a light-puddle that goes wide. It looks really awesome, especially if you have more items also with LED lights. I also researched every other keyboard and manufacturer before making a deal that would pull $100 out of my pocket (lucky coupons + discounts) and there are other options as well - you could go Razer, where you'd need to fork out $200 more in order to get better quality, but $100 more if you would want just the same. The other manufacturer's keyboards were also not available in white. But again, this was me - who likes shiny new things and fancy lights. I absolutely would recommend though.

|Posted .Pros mentioned:Design, Keys, LightingComing from the Corsair K95 Platinum, I was fully aware of the build quality and performance of the Corsair line of mechanical keyboards. This K70 Mk2 in special white addition is so refreshing right out of the box. Its brushed aluminum chacie with white key caps look Amazing when lit up with abundance amount of RGB lighting options. I was a little worried of how I would like the CherryMx Speeds compared to the Browns used in the K95, but my fears have all slipped away after testing this bad Mamba Jamba out! It's super fast response makes game play a breeze! If your in the market for a Mechanical Gaming Keyboard that not only can withstand the years of play, but looks absolutely Stunning on your desk....Then look no further, you have found it...I can only hope they keep making the white addition, because I'm afraid I won't be able to settle for black ever again!!

|Posted .Pros mentioned:Design, KeysBefore I got my first corsair keyboard I was going through 2 keyboards a year routinely no mater the brand, my last keyboard a K95 lasted 5 years and I'm confident this new one will match that. Quality, I feel there is a noticeable difference having the full aluminum back, it's vary sturdy and nice looking. Switches, I wasn't sure how I would feel about the rapid fire keys, I was using reds on my last board, I play osu! alot and keys matter alot to me, so far these have been pretty good, they feel a bit more linear/bouncy then the reds what felt more to free fall past a point what I have came to like, but the big thing is the higher detection point and lighter force to start what for me playing osu! and doing lighter fast taps I have noticed it completely fixed my issue of tapping to light and missing a press.

|Posted .Pros mentioned:Keys, LightingThis is an excellent gaming keyboard. The Cherry MX Speed switches make for seamless actuation, especially when pressing the same key multiple times. The construction of the keyboard is solid, and the RGB lighting complements the aluminum base plate and white key caps fantastically. A couple nitpicks I have are that the base plate can produce a faint ring if a key bottoms out hard enough, and standard 40A-R & 40A-L switch dampening o-rings don't seem to be thick enough to have any effect (although, I did find a set of transparent o-rings that were 0.2mm thicker and worked fine). If you're looking for a good typing keyboard, I would recommend the MX Brown switches as opposed to the Speeds; the super easy actuation can lead to accidental keystrokes depending on how firmly you rest your fingers on the home row.

|Posted .Cons mentioned:Profile, Software4 stars because what it costs does not make the product. It seems that if I have any onboard profiles set that the lights will blink or flicker like a short. Just an odd random occasional short like flash of a key or 2 in random places. So, I just deleted any and all onboard profiles and un-installed the iCUE software which leaves me with a static red across the entire keyboard when the backlighting is turned on. Also the keyboard did not come with a key cap puller, which would be nice if ever I wanted to clean it, and it did not come with the few interchangeable textured keycaps. I like that it would be super easy to clean (with the puller) and that it's primary function is solid as it gets. PS - Cherry Low Profile Switches - yes please Sorta WAY out of character for THE high end RGB keyboard and SE edition at that - to have shorting like occasional blink of keys in random locations. Can't recommend a thing that costs what this does and is flawed.

Q: QuestionCan you take off the key caps and put them in a different place
Asked by Marsh
- A:Answer Yes you can. I am able to remove the key caps by hand and most of them will go on any spot with the exception of keys like the space bar and such.
Answered by NCJacob
Q: QuestionIs the backlighting on the keyboard per key programmable? And is keyboard software for it included?
Asked by PhCypher
- A:Answer Per key no, per software yes. You can download it from the corsair.com website.

Q: QuestionHow Many Keycaps Does This Keyboard Have
Asked by Elusive
- A:Answer There is about 104 total keys on this unit. It is the best one I've ever purchased and I'm not a gamer! My brother is into e-sports and he got to test it out and said it's much better than his Razr keyboard. For that price, totally worth it, fully customize-able, dedicated key features for Windows 7-10.

Q: QuestionDoes this keyboard come with the extra KeyCabs?
Asked by Carlos
- A:Answer NO! I was told by an associate that it would come with an extra 'Non-textured' space bar, it came with 0 extra key caps. Returned the keyboard same day.

Q: QuestionDoes this K70 RGB MK.2 SE comes with textured FPS & MOBA keycaps?
Asked by Gamerz
- A:Answer It comes with ten textured, rubber-topped keycaps and a keycap puller. Not sure which keys are used for MOBAs, but this model comes with the extra WASD keys as well as the QWERDF keys with the same treatment.

Q: QuestionI know this may seem like a dumb question, but I really like the all white of the K70 SE, so I have a Corsair K95 RGB Platinum and was wondering if it is worth getting the K70 mk.2 SE? Also does the all white make the keyboard light up brighter?
Asked by William
- A:Answer It's not white, it's brushed aluminum. And yes it makes the keyboard brighter due to some reflection under the key caps on the chassis. The black version has almost no reflection so this will light up as a whole more substantially than the black. I really like this keyboard for gaming, not so much for typing since the keys are very sensitive MX Cherry "Speed" switches.
