Q: Is this the "NEW" XPS 27 introduced in mid-2017?
A: Yes it is, but this is the 2nd Sub-Model. The original model was $100 less and came with a 1TB hybrid state hard drive. This new model is exactly the same, but costs $100 more and comes with an upgraded 512GB solid state hard drive which severely increases performance and boot up time. I purchased 2 of these new Dell XPS 27s and they are pretty amazing compared to the iMac 5k & the fully loaded Surface Studio which I also own.
