A: Believe it or not, this is actually about the current market price for these cards, although generally they're new. Don't be surprised that Best Buy is being janky. It's why I've seldom gone to them for any kind of shopping in the last 20 years or so. As far as the 4090 goes the current market price is closer to what the scalpers are charging (2-3x MSRP) since Nvidia can't seem to get their sht straight, and are blaming the supply chain this time for extreme shortages in supply to vendors...it was more convenient with the 30 series cards since they had an actual chip shortage going on worldwide. Best Buy gets them, but plays stupid regarding upcoming shipment dates unless you paid $200 for a mostly worthless Totaltech membership...in that case the word is that you'll be informed. Again, janky. They're lazy at Best Buy too. Look at how they don't even bother to fill out the specifications section correctly. And they were never capable of answering phones in under half an hour. Would have taken 10 seconds more to look up the GPU/VRAM speeds, etc.
A: I wouldnt trust them. Maybe if they knocked off $400 bucks instead of trying to sell it at near full price like their good ol' typical janky Best Buy selves.
