Customers are saying
Customers often highlight the secure and convenient vent mount, praising its effectiveness in holding GPS devices. Many appreciate the product's suitability as a GPS mount, particularly for those preferring not to use windshield mounts. However, concerns exist regarding the mount's durability and its tendency to become loose or break after extended use, especially under certain driving conditions.

Good enough
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best product for my Garmin GPS I could find because I am short and did not want mounted on windshield. My dash was also angled but this worked on my vents. (Sometimes falls off going over big bumps.)

Great Unit for Garmin GPS mount in most cars
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a well made unit that securely mounted my Garmin GPS to the air vent in my car. Gave it a great position and no vibration from car movement.. Only will work with a Garmin ball mount GPS and may not fit all vehicles due to shape of air vent fins. Works fine in my Buick but not to sure if will clamp to the round vents in my F150 (have not tried it yet).

Great working portable mount
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this method of mounting better than the windshield suction cup. With windshields being so slanted, a suction cup mount forces you to mount the GPS high on the glass near the rear view mirror with the power cord dangling down in front of you. This mount, used correctly, securely mounts your GPS within easy reach with the cord out of the way. Its tightening knob works great (although you could overtighten and break it). I used a vent vane which allows most of the vent to be unobstructed and tried the mount in two different cars. No problems with either vehicle.

good concept but needs more development
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great idea to attach your GPS to a vent, however when you turn a corner, the weight of the GPS swings the vent left or right (along with your GPS). There needs to be more development on the product to keep this from happening. I would recommend a different method of attachment.

Does not block my view
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this mount because it is not up on my windshield blocking my view. I tried a weighted mount, but they still slide around if you have to stop suddenly. I was worried about it blocking the air vent, but it has not been a problem.

Very secure but allows later vibration
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had a number of Garmin mounts for my dashboard. All, especially the suction cups have had a hard time in sunlight, even for short periods. Too often I've found my Garmin face down of the floor. This mount is very secure and fits well on my Honda Crosstour. At high speed, if I have some vibration the mount does wobble left and right.

works well. Fits my cars air vent (Lexus ES330)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like the idea of not having to put my GPS on the windshield with a suction cup that leaves rings. The unit fits easily on my cars air vent (2005 Lexus ES330). I put it on the air vent closes to the steering wheel, easy to view while driving. There are no instructions, had a bit of problem as to how you remove it from the device. I went on youtube and found the answer.

Q: Questionwill this work in a 2007 saturn vue, 2010 ford explorer sport trac, 2007 mazda cx7
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The Air Vent Mount is designed to work only on air vents with horizontal slats. If the air vent's slats run vertically, then the mount cannot clamp to them. If you own the vehicles in question, you will know whether the air vents have horizontal or vertical slats. If you do not yet own one or more of the mentioned vehicles, I'd recommend contacting the dealer or popping in and taking a peek inside one. -JPK
