Series 1.7 cu. ft. Convection Over-the-Range Microwave
Easy to install & use. I set up the Bluetooth connection with my oven to turn on the fan & light when a burner is turned on. The microwave works perfectly. Still haven’t tried to use the convection bake feature yet.
Looks smart, matches well with GE range, easy to clean, and works well as a microwave. For some reason, it is not quite up to par as a convection oven compared with our old over-the-range microwave, but maybe we were just spoiled or lucky last time round. The new one is also effective according to my male palate, though the lady of the house is not fully satisfied with the convection option.
This is a replacement of a previous GE profile that lasted 19 years and we used it a lot. Hope this one lasts as long. I had to call for an instruction booklet because it only came with a "quick guide". I want to get all the benefits of this product
old over the oven microwave went both feet up and we needed something quick. i bought this on-line and in less than a week it showed up at the door in the arms of two gentlemen. They quickly and expertly uninstalled the dead microwave and hauled it off, matched up the new one, finished up the installation and cleaned up after themselves. They swept and vacuumed, it was a great total experience. This couldn't have gone any better
like the microwave. have had it a month. works well. heats and re-heats very well. the exhaust works so much better than the last on we had. I prefer a keypad to the dial this model uses. a keypad is faster and you can parse down the time. on this model you have to settle for 15 second increments.
Purchase this over the range microwave and am very pleased with this purchase. It is easy to use, and has extra features which like steam cleaning, and convection roasting & baking. I like the sturdiness of the door when closing the micro, also very easy to clean.
A:AnswerHi Suebee3380- Thanks for choosing GE! You can choose the venting to accommodate your installation. The microwave oven is designed for adaptation for the following three types of ventilation: Outside Exhaust (Vertical – Delivered from factory in vertical position). Outside Exhaust (Horizontal). Recirculating (Non-vented ductless). The Recirculating Charcoal Filter (JX81H) is included if you choose to vent inside (recirculating).
