Helps to bring old technology together
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. With an old book shelf stereo that has a cassette deck and line in capability with RCA sockets, this cable enables me to integrate an old walkman CD to play music through my cassette player and further postpone having to buy a newer unit that probably would not fit on y home office shelf.

Great and Easy Fix for an Older A/V Receiver
||Posted .I relocated an older A/V receiver to the garage for music out there and needed a solution for hooking my iphone in for tunes. Picked up one of these adapters to connect my phone to the receiver and it worked like a charm. A quick, affordable and easy fix for some outdated equipment I had and can now make use of again! Great price as well for an older-style cable that is getting harder to find nowadays in the modern bluetooth world.

3.5 mm connection needs
||Posted .Needed a way to connect to the computer speaker set so had to stop by Best buy and "hope" that would have the way to connect to the RCA terminals that were the path to the Bose computer speakers that I've had for a couple years. Obviously, BB had the piece in the store and worked just perfectly. Even liked the flexible connectors because the old connector was a "rigid" piece and the 3.5mm prong had been bent and ruined.

simple solution for external TV speaker
||Posted .I recently obtained a high-quality Bluetooth speaker that I wanted to use for an external TV speaker, but my TV doesn't have Bluetooth capability. I didn't want to spend big $ on an A/V receiver, and I needed to convert the TV's red/white RCA output to a line-in that I could connect directly to the speaker. The Best Buy associate pointed me to this product right away, and I was pleased that it was a simple and low-costs solution. Problem solved!

Works perfectly with my Bose Wave radio
||Posted .I bought this cable to go with my Bose Wave radio. As I already have one hooked up to my main stereo system, I wanted something that I could use in the kitchen. It works perfectly, with no issues whatsoever. Good tight connections on the RCA. And the 3.5 mm Jack is small enough to fit into my Samsung S7 with the OtterBox on.

Q: QuestionIf I am trying to record audio from a record player with stereo out to PC, will it work?
Asked by wengland02.
- A:Answer Probably...I have used a setup like that before and it worked. It was a long time ago though. It would depend on if the mic input on your PC was wired the same way, and it likely is. If you have a stanard 3.5mm aux cable, you could plug if into your phone or other audio source and PC and, if you get a signal, then it should work fine.

Q: QuestionCan I use this to connect to a receiver to a pair of bookshelf speakers and if so how many do I need?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer See what your receiver signal output plug is first. Many are usually RCA out. If your speakers are RCA input then you will need two separate cables that are male RCA on both ends. Order two cables with an extra 5 feet of length each so you are sure to have enough length to adjust speaker position. Good luck.

Q: QuestionCan i connect my rca dvd player to hdmi tv with this cord?
Asked by Geenah.
- A:Answer Only if your "hdmi tv" has analog inputs for red/yellow/white.---- in my case, the "headphone" output accepted the single black cord and the red and white completed the ANALOG connection. HDMI is digital only. If your "rca dvd player" has a HDMI connection you can use it.
