Beatles on air BBC volume 2
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThere is just so many songs on this I don't know where to begin and this is only volume 2. Between both volumes you have every single song from the BBC Sessions. This almost is a must for Beatles completist or hardcore fans. The recordings are old but I do recommend.

More Great Live Beatles Music
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendA followup to 1994's Volume one, this two-disc set gives you 27 tracks of songs and banter. Many of these song versions have never been officially released before. Also included are bonus interview tracks with each of the four band members! A booklet filled with information on each song's recording is included.

For Beatles Completists
|Posted .No, I would not recommend this to a friendI bought this album not really knowing what I was getting. It is old radio shows, I didn't recognize some titles and yes this is probably the only place you will hear some of these titles unless you possess some boot leg albums, I didn't find most of the tracks that entertaining, the originally recorded single and album tracks do sound better. The other point of interest in this release is the personal interviews conducted with each of the Beatles and there are some nice photos included as well, although they were not the best poses.

Another must have for a Beatles fan!
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThere are 63 tracks total. 23 are speech tracks of conversation and banter at the BBC studio. Most of the tracks are different takes of songs from their first 4 LP's. The rest are covers of early rock and roll classics by other American artists. Many of these were never recorded in a studio or released on a Beatles album. If you love The Beatles - you will love this!!!

Great collection of very rare Beatles recordings
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis was a long-anticipated purchase. The main archivist of Beatles performances and interviews on the BBC has finally released a collection of true gems. Many covers and early radio moments from the Fab Four, highly recommended for any die hard Beatles fan!

It's early Beatles. It's raw. It's captivating.
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendOne should never get tired of the Fabs and this is a document of the genesis of what changed the world of music for the next half century. Picture extras from Best Buy make this a an even better package. . Back in 1964 the Beatles took a dormant artform, the work of Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, and Little Richard, and transformed the world. An historical document of note.

Terrific for Beatles fans
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendLike the first "Live at the BBC" these recording show the group early on. Some of the material was never recorded in the studio and for the most part for a good reason. But even these are a pleasure to listen to as they show the Beatles as they were developing into a terrific live band, that is before the screaming began.

Interviews are the best part
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThe sound is generally good (a few tracks are noticeably inferior, but that doesn't ruin it by any means). The discs are in a nice fold-out cover with several pictures. The interviews with the band members are probably the highlights for me, but hearing live versions of these songs is great, too.
