It's great for movie night, football parties, gaming with friends, and anything else you can think of really. It also comes with outlet adaptors so it can be used in different countries when traveling. I love that there are options to easily connect it to my devices. I can connect wifi effortlessly and AirPlay from my phone (I use Apple, though there is an option for Android as well) and the mini HDMI and USB-C make it a breeze to connect my MacBook and Nintendo Switch. The size, sound, and picture quality are amazing for the price!
