At the beginning of this new saga of the famous Trauma Center series, surgeon Dr. Markus Vaughn travels to a remote hospital in Alaska to escape the selfish practices of the Concordia Medical Institute. Far from the obstruction of administrative politics, Markus is free to develop a newly discovered skill called the Healing Touch. He also encourages his partner, Dr. Valerie Blaylock, to expand her abilities as well. When the Alaskan facility closes, the pair is forced to return to Concordia where doctors place politics and image above all else, even patients' survival.

Watch the action unfold as Valerie and Markus become part of Caduceus, a sinister government organization. Uncover a conspiracy with dire consequences as the all-new story drives forward. You must rely on a brand-new medical team for advice and support. Can you trust them to give you the right information as you race against the clock to save lives? Perform new operations and communicate with these never-before-seen characters, who speak during surgeries and cut scenes with fully voiced dialogue. Go online and see how your healing skills measure up with the online score ranking system. Save lives with a friend in two-player cooperative gameplay. Put your patients' welfare before all else and learn survival skills medical school never taught you.
