A: Yes you can. But make sure the 3.5mm jack is plugged in to mic port, and that the mic volume on your computer is set to a higher gain.
A: As far as I am aware, it should work. If your only intention is to use it for karaoke, this isn’t a great handheld mic, its a little “overkill” for your needs.
