“Can anybody confirm if you can alter the screen brightness. When I go into the setting menu, choose display, brightness level then use the slider it does not alter at all it seems fixed on max brightness. Is mine faulty?”

• You are correct, that is where you should be able to control the brightness...make sure under "battery saver" brightness is not being automatically controlled to save battery usage.
