• To be clear it has 2 inputs and 1 output with ARC. The output would be the dedicated HDMI. It supports ARC so you can have surround even from devices connected to your TV. Make sure your TV has an least one HDMI that has ARC.

• The unit acts like a receiver whatever you plug in to it can be selected, anything other than the player, it's internal and doesn't need any "plugging in"

• Hi Adam, These 2 HDMI inputs available on the the unit itself are for other devices that supports HDMI connection if you want to add additional devices like players, cable boxes etc. Thanks. >Joffrey
