Hello Fish! This unit only allows you to change manually the level for each speaker and also to improve the output quality by selecting different sets of sound effect modes. To make the previous changes suggested, please follow these steps : HOME - SETUP - AUDIO SETTINGS - SOUND EFFECT, and to change the LEVEL instead of selecting Sound Effect choose SPEAKER SETTINGS - LEVEL. for more information, please visit the following link to access the operating instructions manual and check pages 57 and 48: https://docs.sony.com/release//BDVN5200W_N7200W_N9200W.pdf ~Jeannette
