Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not necessarily. The audio output of the channel/station has an effect on the quality coming out of your speakers. Some channels are better than others. You can change the sound levels for each speaker in the audio settings on the Sony Home Theater system. I turned the subwoofer to it's lowest setting and tweaked all the other speakers based on their location. It helped make the voices clearer and toned down some of those unexpected booms, bangs and crashes.
