Can you upgrade the Intel core i3 at all? null

Anything is possible but you should check the passmark scores for this chip, it's running with the i5 and i7 chips already since they added both turbo and hyper-threading. It would probably be cheaper to buy another laptop with the cpu you want rather than swapping it out. Also, the single thread rating for this cpu is actually higher than the most popular i5 8250U chip

No you cant unfortunatley. As I signed on to write this review I see they have the model above this one with the i5 and 12gb of ram for the same price...Chris
