A:AnswerActually Best Buy keeps this is their files though I have always kept a record for my files, just in case. I don't remember seeing any plan details but have used it when I had a watch no longer performing properly. I took the watch in for repair and they let me know that I could use the plan and get a new watch due to the problem and this policy. It was so nice to get a new watch and have NO hassle!
A:AnswerA hassle free warranty return the item to the store or they will come to you, no shipping you are able to stay inform instead of waiting for long period of time just to find out if the manufacturers warranty will cover or not.
A:AnswerHi Reyna. Thank you for your question! At least right now, we are unable to offer Geek Squad Protection for products not purchased through us. If you have any questions on that, please let us know!
A:AnswerYou can request a Transfer of Ownership to have the plan moved from your information over to the gift recipient's. For support with this, please call us at (800) GEEKSQUAD or (800) 433-5778.
A:AnswerThey used to just swap out the watch with a new or you upgrade and pay the difference but they changed the policy on the 2 year warranty thats $59.99 now they ship it out to fix. Which is lame as heck.
A:AnswerUmm what usually happens is they refund a portion of it. I know if you replace the item then you have to repurchase the service for that item. hope this helps.
A:AnswerYes. I called to see if I could exchange because of scratches. I was told yes. You do have 15-day window to do an exchange but add the protection plan and they honor that if you get the membership it's even better because it extends it to a six at a policy and if it's cracked and you do an exchange you still get to keep your protection plan.
A:AnswerIt was brand new watch but it has to be in the manufacture warranty time line other then that they will tell you to go to a store location appointment only to have it fixed
A:AnswerYou can call make an appointment or you can also just show up. I would ask if they're only going to do troubleshooting that you could possibly do yourself and if it isn't troubleshoot issue they will do an exchange and still keep your protection plan if they fix it themselves then you're utilizing that protection plan and it's within that 15 days if you have a membership it will be extended for return or exchange policy like 60 days and price matching
