“Manufacturer warranty is one year, isn't this 2-year protection only 1 year past manufacturer ?What am I paying for except an extra 1 year?”

A hassle free warranty return the item to the store or they will come to you, no shipping you are able to stay inform instead of waiting for long period of time just to find out if the manufacturers warranty will cover or not.

Please try again later.You are technically paying for two warranty plans the 1 year manufacturer warranty and the Geek Squad 2 year protection plan but yes the 2 year protection plan is 1 more year then the manufacturer warranty plan because the 2 year plan starts when you buy the product if you get the 2 year protection plan.
