- Answer If you have tried doing a factory reset or basic shutting down and the problem persists you can do an exchange and still keep you protection plan or they can do further troubleshooting which I don't recommend because they know just as much as most of us but that's what the plan is for. Mine kept displaying a red x so when I went into the store I told him all the steps I've done cuz I looked it up online so instead of them doing it I just exchanged it and it kept my protection plan safe and the watch actually was damaged and it was a software issue

- Answer Your 2 year insurance coverage must be within the time period. If you let the coverage lapse then no free upgrade Also the insurance is for damage to the watch not because your just bored with it and want a new watch. If hardly worn and almost new why do you want another one except for braging eights ?
